Channel Manager

Job Description: The Channel Manager will have established relationships and a proven track record with channel accounts in the Pro AV industry within the designated U.S. markets. This role requires a strong understanding of the channel ecosystem by collaborating closely with end users, consultants, and integrators to drive business growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish targeted customer development strategies in the designated territory and set up an overall strategy for long-term partnership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners to get Absen in the vendor system and get Absen products specified into projects as preferred vendors.
  • Keep informed of products, services, and other general information of interest to listed accounts.
  • Have experience with Direct view LED and have some hands-on experience to provide support in demo shootouts. 
  • Coordinate with the US team to provide support to channel partners, consultants, and dealers during the implementation of the projects.
  • Provide Lunch and Learn, sales training, local show, or demo support on site from local if needed.
  • Host key accounts to visit HQ and factory in China.
  • Communicate with other Absen business units or departments to exchange info or market insights.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Work Location:

  • Remote, Absen facilities as needed.

Compensation range:

Our total compensation range with sales commission/bonus opportunity for this position is $135k to 180K, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

Consultant Liaison

Job DescriptionIn conjunction with the US team, this position is responsible for the development of AV consultants/design firms nationally in the assigned industries in the US market. Main applications for the assigned markets based on Absen segmentation may include Top Corporations, Entertainment, IT Services/Software, Healthcare, Education, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Have knowledge of the entire US market. Analyze market trends, including but not limited to technology trends, product trends, customer requirements, etc. for the main applications.
  • Establish targeted customer development strategies. Develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing AV consultants/design firms to get Absen products specified into projects.
  • Coordinate with the US team to provide support to consultants/design firms and set performance goals in the designated markets.
  • Provide technical escalations to consultants/design firms and review bid documents from them.
  • Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to consultants/design firms.
  • Gather feedback through field activity and transfer the feedback to appropriate company staff. This includes sales, marketing, product management, and R&D departments.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly industry situation reports.
  • Manage the communication with consultants/design firms and Absen team during the implementation of the projects.
  • Host consultant/design firms to visit HQ and factory in China.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows to capture brand awareness.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Business Development Manager

Job Description: The Business Development Manager working closely with the U.S. team, this role is responsible for driving Pro AV business development within the assigned Canadian regions. The focus is on opening new market opportunities, generating leads, and expanding Absen’s presence to meet or exceed sales targets..  

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement the company strategy for the business development of specific markets assigned to the candidate, with a special focus on opening new opportunities in those industries and generating leads to ensure targets are met or exceeded in the designated markets.
  • Identifies new accounts to sell LED products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to expand sales.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals in coordination with the team in the designated markets.
  • Integral role in key project demo shoot-out, traveling with the sales team presenting product solutions and benefits, and analyzing the customers’ needs and project info.
  • Product and solution advocate. Lead relationships with key accounts, provide technical information, and win orders.
  • Gather feedback through field activity and transfer the feedback to appropriate company staff. This
  • includes sales, marketing, product management, and R&D departments.
  • Monthly and quarterly report of R&S market summary.
  • Host RS clients to visit HQ and factory in China.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows to capture brand awareness.
  • Performs all other duties assigned to them of which the employee is capable of performing.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with a major in engineering, business administration, or business management.
  • Sales &engineering or project management background in LED industry.

Mechanical Designer

Job Description:

The Mechanical Designer will perform a variety of complex technical tasks and support the sales team with pre-sales opportunities by providing engineering solutions to clients, assisting in LED display system design, managing engineering documentation, offering technical support, and performing both internal and external product training. The ideal candidate must have excellent presentation skills and be able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role will work closely with internal teams to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Answers all technical questions from current and prospective clients and sales team
  • Supports sales strategy by participating in discussions and building technical confidence with clients
  • Conducts site surveys and prepares system proposals, drawings, and technical presentations
  • Designs LED screen systems using AutoCAD for various industry applications
  • Produces mechanical drawings and electrical schematics using 2D/3D CAD tools
  • Drafts technical documents such as specifications, layout instructions, and installation guidelines
  • Provides internal and external training on product features and system design
  • Hosts client visits in the showroom and supports customer demonstrations
  • Assists post-sales teams with support in installation, repair, and service coordination
  • Gathers customer feedback and relays insights to the product development team
  • Participates in trade shows, training events, conferences, and product demos
  • Supports marketing by assisting with technical materials, video assets, and promotional efforts

Competencies:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks/Inventor/Pro-E or equivalent CAD tools
  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.110-2000 & Y14.5-1994 drawing standards
  • Familiarity with metal machining, sheet metal fabrication, and plastic molding techniques
  • Understanding of LED display systems, AV equipment, and electrical component integration
  • Ability to develop both mechanical and electrical documentation
