Mechanical Designer, Technical Services

Job Description: The Mechanical Designer, Technical Services will serve as the liaison between headquarters, China, and the U.S. Absen team. This position will perform a variety of complex technical tasks and support the sales team with pre-sales opportunities and post-sales services, providing engineering solutions to clients, regional product management, managing engineering documents, and performing internal and external training.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer all technical questions from current and prospective clients and the sales team
  • Listen to sales conversations and help build strategy to win the opportunity
  • Provide technical assistance to clients as well as prospects, including site surveys, designing parts and accessories, and making mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Provide support to the repair service team in areas of repair, service, or installation

Consultant Liaison, Western

Job DescriptionIn conjunction with the US team, this position is responsible for the development of AV consultants/design firms nationally in the assigned industries in the US market. Main applications for the assigned markets based on Absen segmentation may include Top Corporations, Entertainment, IT Services/Software, Healthcare, Education, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Have knowledge of the entire US market. Analyze market trends, including but not limited to technology trends, product trends, customer requirements, etc. for the main applications.
  • Establish targeted customer development strategies. Develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing AV consultants/design firms to get Absen products specified into projects.
  • Coordinate with the US team to provide support to consultants/design firms and set performance goals in the designated markets.
  • Provide technical escalations to consultants/design firms and review bid documents from them.
  • Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to consultants/design firms.
  • Gather feedback through field activity and transfer the feedback to appropriate company staff. This includes sales, marketing, product management, and R&D departments.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly industry situation reports.

Job Description: In conjunction with the US team, this position is responsible for developing Rental Staging accounts in the assigned regions in traditional concert touring and corporate markets, as well as accounts in virtual production industries.

Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Absen’s corporate marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, brand management, customer engagement, and marketing communications. This role collaborates with marketing team members in the United States and at Absen headquarters in China to support marketing operations, marketing campaigns, and corporate brand initiatives.  The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating marketing materials logistics, vendor management, and inventory control for marketing activities including tradeshows, demonstrations, training programs, and other company events. The role also provides graphic design support, assists with marketing content development, and supports marketing administrative and operational functions.  This position works collaboratively with all marketing team members in the U.S. and headquarters marketing teams in China.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with marketing team members in the United States and headquarters in China to support the implementation of corporate marketing strategies and communication initiatives.

• Assist with the coordination and execution of national and regional tradeshows, demonstrations, and marketing events, including registration, vendor coordination, demo equipment preparation, packing and shipping of marketing materials, and event logistics.

• Coordinate logistics for company training programs including LED 101, ACE-r, and ACE-i sessions, including attendee registration, training materials preparation, food and beverage coordination, and attendance tracking.

• Manage ordering, inventory tracking, storage, and distribution of marketing materials, promotional items, and giveaways.

• Coordinate shipping and logistics of marketing materials, demo equipment, and promotional items for tradeshows, demonstrations, and sales events, and communicate with the sales team, rep firms, distributors, and event organizers to ensure timely delivery.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for marketing materials, including obtaining quotes, comparing pricing, placing orders, and monitoring delivery schedules.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic inventory checks to ensure availability and accuracy of marketing materials.

• Assist with maintaining the CRM database including lead entry, database updates, and support for customer communications and e-newsletter campaigns.

• Support digital marketing initiatives including social media content, email campaigns, webinars, and other customer engagement activities that drive traffic to the company website and marketing events.

• Provide graphic design support for marketing collateral including product flyers, brochures, advertisements, banners, social media graphics, and other promotional materials while adhering to company brand guidelines.

• Create and update print and digital marketing assets including PDFs, email graphics, website visuals, and promotional materials.

• Assist with photography and videography activities including product images, installation documentation, event coverage, and basic video editing as needed.

Technical Service Engineer

Job Description: The ideal Technical Service Engineer will be an expert-level service professional with the ability to work with a high level of integrity and with minimum supervision. This role will perform a variety of complex technical tasks needed to support customers with basic troubleshooting capabilities designed to isolate and resolve any LED issues experienced. This role will ensure the success of Absen products post-sale.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide daily technical (troubleshooting) phone and online support for all Absen customers.
  • Deliver access to technical manuals, collateral, SW/FW, and work instructions as needed.
  • Provide technical advice regarding the technology and engineering of our products in order to promote, support, and service the sale of our products.
  • Conduct onsite technical installation for clients all over the United States.
  • Deliver onsite technical installation consultation and provide clear instructions.
  • Consult clients on technical service parts and new acquisitions.
  • Identify, manage, and coordinate the service RMA process (client, tools, and process) for the full RMA cycle and return.
  • Manage RMAs and tech support calls via assigned tracking tools.

DOOH Development Manager

Job Description: 

The DOOH Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth and expanding client opportunities in the U.S. DOOH market. Working closely with U.S. and regional teams, this role leads sales coordination, market analysis, and strategic planning across targeted industry verticals. The Development Manager focuses on developing new business opportunities, particularly out-of-channel, by engaging with top advertising firms, systems integrators (SIs), consultants, and end users. Key application areas include billboards, spectacular digital signs, street furniture, transit centers, airports, and shopping malls for fixed installations.

This position combines strategic market development, partnership building, and sales leadership to establish and grow Absen’s presence in the U.S. DOOH sector while meeting assigned sales targets.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement the Company strategy for the business development-specific markets assigned to the candidate, with a special focus on opening new opportunities in those industries, generating leads to ensure targets are met or exceeded in the designed markets.
  • Identify new accounts and execute value-based selling, articulating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ROI to C-level decision-makers.

Pre Sales Engineer Central (Remote)

Job Description: The Sales Engineer expands the Company’s reach through the acquisition of new clients and business. The Sales Engineer actively identifies, pursues, and engages in building relationships with current and new clients. A Sales Engineer must have LED industry and market knowledge and be able to effectively communicate the Company’s brand and product value in such a way as to elicit a favorable reaction from the target customer.
