Designed to meet the demands of Broadway’s most visually ambitious productions, AbsenLive’s PL2.5 Pro panels bring crisp imagery and vibrant color to an innovative scenic design that includes three dynamic layers of LED screens. These include two screens downstage, one at midstage, and a fourth screen upstage that can fly in to transform the space for major musical numbers. Integrated seamlessly into the show’s set and choreography, the LED walls help drive key moments—like the animated opening “Betty Saves the Day” and character-defining scenes such as “A Little Versatility” and “Ordinary Day.”
With the panels configured to move and track during the show, BOOP!’s scenic environment becomes an active storytelling element. From immersive portals to animated backdrops, the LED screens support dazzling choreography and elaborate visual transitions—framing Betty’s journey through identity and imagination with rich, high-impact visuals.
To support this dynamic system, the production also utilizes ten Brompton Technology Tessera SX40 LED processors and twenty Tessera XD distribution units, delivering advanced processing power and seamless signal management for a flawless visual experience.
