The Sales Engineer should be able to facilitate growth while building long-lasting customer relationships. This position supports the business by acting as a liaison between customers and companies. The BSE will be working with business decision makers to understand the Company’s unique business needs. The BSE will be central in developing LED display solutions for applications ranging from major professional sports league stadiums to small digital signages in local schools. The BSE will also cover multiple aspects of the Company’s core business including needs analysis, solution drafts and proposals, and project management.

Essential Functions:

  • Gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customers to improve efficiency in communications and document interactions through contact tracking
  • Receive, document and resolve incoming customer inquiries and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience
  • Support the Territory Sales Teams in sales processes including order placements, refunds, and other exchanges on ERP system
  • Facilitate product demonstrations and follow necessary internal procedures including booking to reserve the showroom for showing and filing all necessary paperwork
  • Coordinate with Sales Team & Logistics for order shipments, and follow up with Sales Team and Shenzhen Headquarters on orders, payments and delivery
  • Assist in answering technical questions from the clients and the Sales Team
  • Participate in tradeshows, conferences, demos, trainings, and other business-related events
  • Maintain and continually enhance technical knowledge on current Absen product lines, LED Display products, and industry business practices
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs consecutively

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, STEM majors preferred

Work Location/ Travel Requirements:

  • Work remotely from home
  • Must be willing to travel (domestic and international) for to fulfill job duties with possible rotation between U.S. and China offices
  • May be required to work overtime and flexible hours on an as needed basis
  • Required to travel throughout the year for business meetings, tradeshows, trainings, demos, and other business-related events

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
